I was born into a dog show family as my father was an AKC licensed all-breed handler. He also bred and showed English Springer Spaniels and Weimaraners under the kennel name of Litilann's. The name came about as all the dogs in my father's kennel loved me the best so my Dad started calling them all "Little Ann's dogs". Needless to say I was quite young when that name came about and it just stuck. I started in Juniors at the age of 7 or 8. I showed and finished Springers, Weimaraners, Brittneys & Great Pyrenees before getting my first Poodle. My Father was instrumental in teaching me handling & ethical breeding practices.

The first poodle I showed was Ch. Eaton Damascus. (a Ch. Aliyah Desperado son) He finished with 3 majors and multi Group Placements. My first poodle (1981) was a son of his, Ch. Litilann's Backdoor Luv Affair. The day "Magic" he finished he also won an All-Breed Best In Show. I loved the temperaments and general look of these dogs so much that I did tons of research and found the look was coming from Desperado.  So in searching for a foundation bitch I found Ramblewood Alexandria who was out of Desperado and Ch. Eaton Ice Palace. She finished as an adult in 3 weekends with 4 majors, and is a Top Producer with 9 champions. She can be found in every Litilann's pedigree. Another dog that can be found in all my pedigrees, and sometimes several, times is her son Ch. Litilann's Absotively. Unfortunately "Lars" went sterile at the age of 5 but he is a TP of 18 champions and is very instrumental in the health and look of today's Litilann Poodles.

Julia Kinsey - Assistant

In 2011 Ann and the poodles of Litilann welcomed Julia to the team.  We have never looked back.

Julia is originally from Canton Ohio and has been involved in dogs for over 20 years. She started out doing agility with Standard poodles, and achieved several MACHs with her dogs. She got her first conformation dog about 15 years ago, and has added poodles to her conformation show resume.  Along with the poodles, Julia has has owned and shown Border Collies in both agility and conformation.

In addition to her work as my assistant, Julia is also specialing her toy poodle Ch Foxmore Playin Hard To Get "Flirt".  This year at PCA, they were awarded BoS to BoV - we were so proud of Julia and her hard work!
